PETER DOMINOWSKI - BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Peter Dominowski is President of Market Trends Research, Inc. He established the company in 1985.
He has written five publications on research; Audience Ratings, The Program Director's Handbook, Extended Focus Group Research, The Listener Survey Toolkit, and The National Research Reports for Local News Project I and II. A recognized authority on research, he has been
quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Billboard, and Radio and Records. He also gives numerous presentations on research and marketing each year to conferences and industry trade shows.
He is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association [the professional association for focus group professionals], and received his M.A. in Telecommunications from Kent State University and his B.S. in Communications from Illinois State University. He is an adjunct professor of Communications at Schiller International University.
Dominowski has also been a successful broadcaster, winning the highest national programming awards in both commercial radio at WFMT, Chicago [Marconi Award], and in public radio at WMFE, Orlando [Ralph Award]. He served on the Board of Directors of the Radio Research Consortium, a national research organization, for eleven years, and was a founder of the Public Radio Program Director's Association [PRPD].
A native of Chicago, he now resides in Lyon, Colorado near Boulder. When not in the midst of research projects, he enjoys golfing and travel.
